Fifty years ago on the moon
They “came for all mankind”, but soon
That all faded from mind
Now the world lags behind
Where it should be, led by a buffoon
Who wants his science “a la carte”
While his clown car won’t even start
So he sends for Mike Pence
To grant deliverance
Trump thinks that he can play the part
Of being the leader of space
And Pence, is delighted, his face
Lights up, he’s in charge
Of heaven (and Mars)
And the moon … Mike can have his own base!
But when he visits Pence finds to his cost
That he doesn’t have any riposte
To the question of “care”
(He forgot to take air)
So now he just floats in space – lost
