Miserable Les (aka I Screamed a Scream) by Sue BoJo
I dreamed a dream of trash piled high
And it did not need separated
A pile of crap up to sky
To damn directives that I hated
But the liars come at night
All rejoicing as they plunder
No repairs, they broke apart
Then they sought to pass the blame
As reptilian tears they cried
At all the days of endless blunder
I was so naive when they lied
When we leave – it’s not a game
But still I dream of passports blue
To make my life complete for living
It must be British, not EU
If Dover’s blocked I’ll be forgiving
I had a dream a Brexit bus
With livery so boldly painted
Could save the NHS for us
But meds short supplied, I screamed a scream
