All That is Left (aka Doing the Right Thing by Leaving the Party till Later)
It doesn’t mean your a communist
If you believe in community
By being individual
You can help group immunity
By being self-reliant (mostly)
That means mostly not going out
We can all beat this virus
And stop it being spread about
This little gift of freedom
We can give to ourselves
By not sharing false freedom
And contagion on shop shelves
It’s not a violation
Of some ancient civil right
To act as one in unison
We need to stand and fight
There are times to stand together
Even if when ranks must part
We can still be in alignment
Though socially we are apart
To do so isn’t socialist
And no-one should take offence
But right now being collective
Is only common sense
And when we get back to normal
Then we can have a fresh debate
But please let us not fill it up
With anger and with hate
