A Wee Scots Dog Don Senior The Virtue of Patience

The Virtue of Patience

Patience is a Virtue (aka Good Things Come to Those Who Wait)

Sweet Georgia Brown and Philly
Are music to my ears
It’s very near the time
To celebrate with beers

The vanquishing of demons
In deepest moral debt
Who must surely rue their hubris
Forgoing mail-in vote, regret

Is now all that is left to them
As they holler and they wail
And fret over possibility
Of time to spend in jail

It has been a long journey
Over the past few days
But now it seems that soon
It will end in happy ways

And so it’s taken quite a while
To write this little rhyme
It’s safe to say you will agree
I was just Biden my time
